Free disk cloner?

I'm about to upgrade my hard drive from a 320 GB to a 1TB. Does anyone know of a good disk cloning software that's free and doesn't contain a bunch of adware, spyware, browser toolbars, or anything else that makes puppies cry?

What would be the best way to verify the integrity of all my files after I'm done? I was gonna put my old HDD in my PS3, but I want to make sure that there are no bad files before I wipe it. Is there a way to hash your whole partition at once, without making having to make two backups?

Doesn't Windows come with one? If you right click "Computer" on the start menu, click on "Manage" and then in on "Disk Management" You should be able to format the HDD completely.

That'll format it, but not clone it. I know Windows has its own built-in backup tool, but the two times I've actually needed to restore my data to a new drive, it refused to do it, which makes me think that Microsoft disallows it because muh piracy.
