fox's foward B

When I do fox's foward B and continue to press B, sometimes It shortens the movement. Any tips on how to get this consistant? It would be a good addition to anyones mindgame.

practice, and learn the exact timing of when you press it to shorten. I just try and press b as soon as I see fox start to move in the illusion, and it works most of the time for me when I try it.

I've been working this move into my game a little bit recently. Usually I'll spam lasers from afar, and I'll simply land into an illusion. The distance is perfect, popping them into the air for some uairs. Punishable, perhaps. Awesome when it lands though.

Yea thats what i'm aiming for. Can you get the short illusion consistant?

there are also 4-5 lengths that it can be shortened to, make sure you know what length you need it to be. How to do it: you press b the frame before you want to stop, and you stop (do the ending animation) at the next place fox would be in the illusion. My advice, press b one frame before where you want it to end.
