Actually, having just booted up SSBM to check, that does look exactly like Fox' forward throw from SSBM. They probably took the screen right at impact which would explain the still bright impact graphic and Mario's still being closeness.

Well, it does resemble the end of Fox's forward-throw...I suppose it could really go either way. I hope it's his forward-throw, I always thought his and Falco's was one of the coolest (they just punch the guy forward...how cool is that??).

Yeah and fox's dash attack in ssbm is TOO useful for setting up an Usmash or an Uair. I dont want that gone...
