You're spamming the dash > wavedash back way too much, it's painfully predictable. Don't dthrow, uthrow > uair has better returns. Don't shffl fairs either. >_> Don't just chill there with your shield up when Marth is right behind you, or you'll get grabbed. D: L Cancel more, and you'll be able to shine after an aerial, rather than have Marth CC > dtilt poke you after your dairs. Full jumped nairs are pretty icky on FoD, when platforms are up above the Marth, and he has a disjointed hitbox. Both of you need edgehog, edgeguard, and sweetspot better. Tell the Marth player than Marth has more moves than fsmash, too. Use less over + b, etc.

i'll try to get a better vid up soon

and yes i'm trying to teach him...he's improving but not by much

i think i went for too many shine spikes jsut for flashiness...eh i'll change that, when opponent is below, what's a good move to use, dair?

those SHFFL'D fairs were supposed to be nairs...but oh well
i never exactly chilled there with my sheild up except for one point that's cause i did a mistake and new he was not going to stop using the neutral A....little bit of mindgames there on him, exploiting his weakness, but eh

still getting use to fox...a little fast for me

but thanks for your help

IMO your fox needs improvement, here are some combos advice
Upthrow>uair
Drillshine>grab>upthrow>uair
nair>nair>nair..
Nair>jab>grab
Dair>jab>upsmash
Dair>grab
Upsmash out of the shield is very useful
Nair>shine>nair>uptilt>uair (pretty sick combo)
Nair>dtilt
Nair>dair>waveshine>jab>grab/upsmash>(ifgrab)upthrow>uair (not that I do this always but I've done it)

Just upthrow more and master waveshine and don't just dash and wavedash backwards do other thinks like dash dancing(trying to for the grab) in place or shoot some lasers (shl or shdl if you can)to make marth come to you, remember to always look for the grab against Marth and any character that can be upthrow>uair comboed

just practice against people. It seems like you have practiced a lot of Fox's advanced moves. You just need to play more. Practice combos.

Obviously that's how. If you only had one attempted edgeguard with FOX, you're doing it wrong.
i only knocked my bro off the edge twice

the first time, i messed up a shinespike, hit him the wrong way

teh second time he CC a bair from me and did a dair, so no need to edgegaurd there

well, there was one other time but i did that one right at least, i had some mindgames with that one
