Fox vs Samus help

I play with a pretty good samus and i can't seem to figure out a good approach to him or anything... its probably just me sucking but everytime i try to approach him he crouch cancels it and hits me back and i cant make him come to me because of superwavedash and missle spam.... some advice on how to fight a good samus would be nice... sorry if this was already posted.

Try grabbing him more. At low damages fthrow him and follow with a nair. At higher %'s up throw and try to bair samus as she falls. Lasers are useful and don't shine her missles. Watch out for her tilts and if you are dash-dancing be wary of her dash attack. A grab can lead to death for fox so watch out for those. As for the CCing..grab. Or dash in and out and make her dsmash then punish her with a nair at lower %'s or an upsmash if you can kill her. Watch out for her up b..don't stay on her shield too long. Make sure to try and see how the samus is spacing herself so you don't eat smash's all day.

Yea grabbing is usally what i have to do but the samus i play with is very good with bombs.
So he'll bounce around with bombs and hardly ever just stand still. That makes it really hard to just run up and grab him. Usally i get hit by a bomb or somthing and get stuck in a combo all day.. I can waveshine her into a grab sometimes but not often..

Full jumped nair can be a good aproach when he's(she's) not expecting it. Samus shouldn't CC counter if you shuffled perfectly into a shine, trust me it shouldn't happen. Yesterday I made clink with my shine every CC attack of my friend's samus and then I uiar'ed his(her) ***

yea that happens alot to me, i still dont have perfect nair to shine so thats probably why i get owned when i try to approach her. but still she plays with bombs ALOT so half the time i nair in and it gets canceld by bombs.

If you eat a bomb on your approach you can usually jab or nair very quickly to escape the reprecussions if samus doesn't space right

Ah i havent tried a jab yet. Nair again dosen't work because she has it spaced perfect with another bomb to explode so she can be over me and hit me.

I like to drill shine samus in close combat and spam lasers from a distance.Fthrow+Nair works pretty good too.

lol If people(mods) were taking that seriously they will be closing almost every thread in the forum. I guess some people use it but they decide to post here anyways because the threads they find are too old.

when i laser spam i get superwavedashed... the samus is good he wont let me laser spam him.....

yeah i have the same prob minus the SWD the CC is stopping me from any combo other than nair 2 shine and sometimes i can drill 2 grab
