The Fox needs to JC the shine, it'll help you setup a Nair if you wiff a shine or just to escape from being punished. but im not pr0.

JC every shine, whenever possible. Unless, uh, maybe a super raer situation. I couldn't take it after a few seconds, so I never watched much, but use some grabs.

to the fox: make sure you jc the shines. also, i saw you wavedashing so you should waveshine a lot more (esp. on stages w/o platforms). I saw you using a lot of dash attacks-- there are better moves to do while running. ex: do some dash cancels into smash attacks or tilts. you need to grab more, substitute some jc'ed grabs for the dash attacks. Fox can chain grab Falco. shine a lot more, particularly at lower %'s--there were many times you were right beside him and you tried to smash him when he didn't have high enough damage to generate much knockback.

to the Falco: those were platform stages so jc'ed shines were preferrable, but make sure you can waveshine. Watch the lasers when Fox is way off the stage; you nearly let him get back on once by hitting him when he was off the screen.

edit: both of you need to sweetspot the ledges more.

good luck.

@oskurito: good advice, you really helped him out-- seriously though, don't be a dbag.

You suck...

That was completly unnessasry..Why would you just blantantly insult them when they stated that they had just started using Fox/Falco 4-5 days ago...? God I wish we still had a rep system.

Guys, thanks a lot for the help. I'm JCing Shines now, and I have added a few more grabs into my game, though I don't really grab with anyone I use X_X. It's a horrible habit, just like my "never use nair" habit. I need to change it.

Edit: We don't have 4 mains each <_<. Just 4 people we like to use.

I used to have the exact same habits as you. I'd almost never grab or nair with anyone. Now that I do both, my game has improved significantly. Shuffled nairs are VERY spammable with fox.

come to think of it, i didn't see you do a single shuffle in the second match. which is VERY bad if you're playing fox. In fact, it's bad with everyone except samus, and even then it's better to shuffle some of the time.

I'd also recommend in general implementing wavedashing into your gameplay more. YOu don't do it that often. It's even more important with fox b/c of waveshining. The easiest way to implement things into you game is to not worry about winning or losing. Just keep trying things. Wavedash whenever you get the oppurtunity, and when wavedashing becomes almost like a bad habit, start doing waveshines.

falco needs to sh dair when the fox is firefoxing back. Couple oppurtunities for kills and you didn't capitalize. I could go on for a bit more but im tired. Stick your l cancels, shine afterwards.
