Fox Moonwalking?

i've absolutely nailed moonwalking with link (my main)
but i cannot do it with fox no matter how hard i try.
i know i think i have to start off by walking... right? i don't really know.
anyways, any help with this would be awesome.

walk until full speed, then quarter circle down like you would with link :)

Wd/Wl or walk to right, then input 1. :GCL: -> 2.:GCDR: -> 3.:GCR: Concentrating on getting the transition 1. into 2. as fast as possible. Ideally you would hit the diagonal notch on frame 3. This is the theoretically optimal way to moonwalk out of turn, and it's also the easiest to perform, forget all the "quartercircles" and whatever.

With doing the quatercircles it makes it easier, but you don't maximize the distance if I'm correct on this...?

I guess "easy" is subjective and I find the optimal method to be the easiest by far. (Took me weeks to learn good quartercircles, few hours for good diagonal mws) But yeah you probably lose a little bit of distance/speed even if you are very good, but you can certainly be sufficiently good with quartercircles. I chose my method mostly because it's very easy to both directions as well as being optimal.
