I didn't shine because I didn't want to break their shield down more. I was controlling the other characters shield with my feet, so it was difficult to time properly while still giving them a full "hard" shield instead of a light shield.Pretty good. Covers a lot of stuff overlooked by people. Although, a few things: the "m2k angle" does actually give a longer firefox that straight horizontal, it's just upward on an angle, making it have the same horizontal distance. If you were crazy enough to use the firefox to punish shields, at least do a shine, then jc it into a firefox. Those combos at the end are very DI out-able (i.e. champs, chillin #1) But still usefull. The firefox> corneria fin was sweet, i'd never seen that one. And the drillshine infinite, as you know, is easy to SDI out of, and i know you commented on that, and it's cool to put in the vid.
Ah, i see. I did notice that the shield was broken by holding it. Just, if you were to use it in a real match, you should shine. Try using a rubber band instead of your feet next time. It's how i practice shield pressure.I didn't shine because I didn't want to break their shield down more. It becomes more difficult to see the change in shield when the shield is weaker, and the main point was to show how much damage the "burn" of the firefox does, and how much the "hit' of the firefox does. If you look carefully, her shield actually breaks because she's holding it, not because of the firefox, although the firefox does do a tremendous amount of damage.
As for the M2K angle, we both stated basically the same thing. They have ultimately the same distance, except at one point in which the M2K angle gives more distance.
I never even thought of a rubber band. That's an excellent idea!Ah, i see. I did notice that the shield was broken by holding it. Just, if you were to use it in a real match, you should shine. Try using a rubber band instead of your feet next time. It's how i practice shield pressure.
Ah, i see what you're saying now about the M2K angle. I was reading it a little wrong.
what you could do is pause the video at the point where DI has the most effect distance-wise in mid-air so that people will actually see exactly what you mean. Rewording sometimes only makes people more confused imo.I never even thought of a rubber band. That's an excellent idea!
I had a lot of trouble wording the "M2K angle" stuff. I thought for a long time about how to word it and still wasn't happy with the finalized version, but I've been sitting on this video for a long time and needed to update.
