So I haven't seen an "Advanced Tech" thread around (if there is, forgive me x3)

But my CPU did this thing

Wanted to know what you guys thought of it, or if it had already been found out?

yeah if you side b above the ledge at some angle that doesn't sweet spot but isnt too high, you get a shorten. but in my experience its very hard to consistently reproduce

I can get it quite consistently but it's tricky xD Also IDK if it can be done from further away...

I remember discovering this by accident at a local weekly; saved me from a Luigi F-smash who thought he could catch me centre-stage. Pretty situational tech otherwise, and yes it can be done from nearly any distance.
