Hi guys,
I recently dug through my closet for some spring cleaning and unearthed a whole bunch of stuff. Among these unearthed childhood treasures included a no-longer-working Super Scope, a NES Zapper, two SNES systems, a NES that's in need of maintenance, various Gameboy Advance peripherals, but most importantly, my old Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness Gamecube, 2 Gamecube memory cards, a copy of Smash Bros Melee, and my old wireless Wavebird controller. A lot of these things are in great condition!... Except for that last thing.
The WaveBird is physically busted. If I pop in some batteries, I'm sure it functions fine, but it has two glaring problems.
1) Analog Stick. Totally popped off and brokeded.
2) Battery cover. Nowhere to be found in all those old boxes in my closet.
Was wondering if there was a way to replace those two missing parts? I searched online and came across various replacement sticks of varying designs, and I was wondering if any of them in particular are better than the stock analog stick? Or if there's any repair shop here in Toronto that you guys know of that can fix these issues.
I'm sure the former is easier to replace than the latter. Might just have to make do with taping batteries in if I can't find a cover.
Thanks!
