Forgotten Moves?

I have been watching some professional game play for ssbu and i think there are some moves which have a lot of potential in this game that people are sleeping on. For example I have been playing as fox for the past few weeks and love the combo Nair to upsmash. What I found was if the opponent is at low percent you can fastfall N-air and then, if the opponent recovers wrong, you can use fox's up special (yes his up special) to rack up about 30 percent. This move can be a kill move, and certainly can be used to add more percent on your opponent. There are other times you can do this. If your opponent spot dodges a lot (and I mean a lot) you can go next to him and use the up special. It takes quite a few frames for this move's hit box to appear, and can be useful in this situation. Another move that I think could be good is Jigglypuff's up special. Now don't get me wrong this is extremely punishable but it could also be very dangerous. It seems to have increased range in this game. I don't know it is just a thought. I was wondering are there any other moves which could be used but people are neglecting?

Your experience with moves in for glory has very little relevance to actual advanced play. Such moves are neglected for a reason, being they aren't reliable in high level play.

I guess, but I feel fox's up special can be devastating non-professionally.

Not sure if this counts as a "forgotten move" but Diddy Kong's Peanut Popgun explosion.
It's a fantastic rest punish if they're at high enough percents.
You can't get more disrespectful then getting a KO by exploding pop gun.

i never see falcons axkick (utilt), and cant understand why. Ofc its easily read if you only use it by edges to spike people, but it can work really well in some combosituations and can create some interesting setups aswell.

Just an example of how an axekick can come into play in combos (in this instance marths counter stalled him so it worked out, but i've gotten it to work in other cases with other combos too!)

But in your original post you seem to be wondering why you don't see pros using it...anyway, moves like these aren't really slept on, they just aren't viable unless you find yourself a) playing an inexperienced opponent b) in a ridiculously specific situation or c) in some combination of the two aforementioned scenarios.

That said, I'm curious about the potential of Sheik's nade. I've seen it be used in tournament matches to varying levels of success. But in general, it seems that it's underused because she has better options. We'll see with time I s'pose.

I know it can kill at higher percent but the only time i see it being useful is maybe ledgeguarding? its easily avoidable with major lag
