Forced Memory Card Load

I've looked at the routine used, I'm slightly confused by it, and I figure someone here has at least better documentation on the code itself.

Specifically, I'm looking for a code that causes the "Load from Memory Card in Slot A" type menu to force something like Tournament Debug Settings to work.

The latest version of my "Boot to Character Select" code makes sure to load from the memory card before reaching the character select screen. Is this what you're looking for?
