making up fake numbers here but if a Venue fee was $10 and singles was $8 would i have to pay $18?

For tournaments- do you have to pay a Venue fee AND a fee for entering the tournament?

It really just depends on the tournament organizer, but I'd say with the big tournaments, the majority of the time is yes.
