For those who have played: GC controller question...

For Brawl, the GC L+R buttons would shield, but not until you actually reached the digital click (or was there a way to fix this in the options?).

Anyone know if SSB4 treats it the same way or does your shield come up with any level of pressing the L or R buttons?

They used Wii U Pro Controllers.

Yes, they had GCN Controllers, but only at E3 and Comic Con. I wasn't at either of those events so I couldn't tell ya.

Excellent. Hopefully, I can find someone who has used one and can answer this.

The GC controller was my favorite for SSB, but the fact that Brawl didn't activate the shield until click ruined it for me.
