Well, I work at Gamestop, and I was talking to my manager about the delay. We were hoping for a midnight opening/Melee tourney thing beforehand, a maybe a chance to demo Brawl... but of course, that will have to wait a month.

However, my manager said he got an email mentioning a possibility of a Brawl demo for all stores, which will be playable sometime next month.

Now, this isn't confirmed, as it only said "possibly", but I wouldn't doubt it. Gamestop did it with SMG, why not Brawl?

Hope this eases some worries for some.

I somewhat doubt this, as it was told my the manager of my local gamestop that he wouldn't stick one in, but then again he's being gay if this is true.
Right on!

Hey, with Gamestop, anything can happen.

This is what my manager told me, he wouldn't just lie to me. A Brawl demo is very, very possible.

Also, our computers scheduled our Brawl shipping date as the 7th of February before the delay... so I guess we'll be getting it 3 days early. :O

Actually, Gamestop put a final Super Mario Galaxy copy into the kiosk before it was released, so maybe the same thing will happen for Brawl!

All depends on whose working, really.

If my manager won't (which i'm sure he'd love to), I will myself, ha.

Im gonna call gamestop everyday to see if they got the game in.
Now what good would that do? They'll tell you the same thing every day.

Unless you're talking about the demo, which would probably be 3 days before the release, still.

My guess, anyways.

I hope Gamestop does host demo sites in their stores, even if it's only for like a week before the game is actually released.

We need hope now more than ever... a demo like the one at E for All would be nice, but I really hope they have a full version with unlockables if it does happen. ****, I'd be happy if you could only play as Kirby on Battlefield. Just give us SOMETHING!

This is just like the guy who said his manager told them about a delay, then it appeared in their store computers..

its highly likely if they want to salvage any hype left..

I would get kicked out of gamestop for not leaving it, ever.

Well, as the assistant manager of my gamestop, having read all the emails to date from the last couple years, including this week's and todays, i have YET to read an email that confirms or denies a brawl demo.

Our nintendo rep did say that it was very likely our kiosk would get a brawl demo/retail copy shortly before launch. This was back in september before the 2nd delay, however. Who knows now.

Unless your email was strictly regional, coming down from a district manager/etc of yours, gamestop has yet to announce anything regarding a demo.
