Would it be at all possible to make a poll for which characters players will likely main? I know there was a poll for which pokemon most deserved a spot. I would really like to see what kind of reactions everyone has to the characters. If there already is such a poll please provide the link, and maybe sticky it for more attention :D thanks

This deserves to go in the Characters section, that is, if you can still post without having to post it in a character section. Yes, this could be interesting. Or we could do it the hard way, by counting up all of the posts that show who mains who in each character section. That would work.

Wouldn't such a thing be best done after the game comes out? I mean, even with all the characters known, most people probably have several they're considering maining, not just one they've completely settled on, and theres always the chance that you'll wind up maining someone you didn't expect at all once you play them (happened to me in Melee - though I'd continue playing Captain Falcon or Link, wound up with Marth). Seems it'd be a bit preemptive at this point.

I don't know, I see a lot of threads talking about who they'd like to main, and it wouldn't have to be a final decision, just one for who people are most excited to play as. Usually people can muster up a decision of that caliber, even if it's tentative.
