for some reason i haven't been able to connect to any servers recently

i used to play online a lot with a friend, but his stopped working for a few months until about a week or two ago. now it's mine that won't work. it won't connect to any server 99% of the time and when that rare occurrence happens that i do connect, if either of us ds, i can't get back in.

if i ping the servers, it tells me 1014 ms usually, but every once in a while it'll show the real ping and sometimes, i can connect but it'll stay stuck at "logging in..."

i'm using project 64k 1.4 and n02 + ownasaurus's tweaks version of kaillera on windows vista. anyone have any ideas? it's not my firewall, i disabled it and it still didn't work. and i've tried running project 64k as an administrator and nothing. help!

You are probably using old server IPs. Where do you live

You're lucky I'm nice enough to get all the way out of bed to find the IP for you. I think you want DCT. Not sure though, I'm west coast. Just a sec

hm, that's the IP i have for DCT and it doesn't work, nor does manually entering that IP

Seems like internet issues. What you describe happens to me as well (on occasion).

Usually, my internet connection is to blame. Cnce it fixes itself (whenever it FEELS LIKE IT :S) I can connect like normal.

Have had the same problem occasionally, and yes internet connection problems. Maybe not even necessarily your internet, but might just be the connection between you and the server is wonky. Sometimes on FU I get 7 frames for no reason, and there was a time when I was getting 1000+ ping on everything for a few days. I don't really know what you can do about it. If you really don't think its a connection thing then try to reinstall pj64k I guess?
