• A 3 Game Smash Bros Tournament in Charles City Iowa!
• It will be held on March 19th, 2016
  
• The 3 games are Smash bros for Wii U (Smash 4), Smash Bros Melee, and Project M
• With Singles and Doubles for all 3, resulting in 6 different tournaments!
• There will be cash payouts for winners!!!
• The Location is the BAC Shack in Charles City Iowa
• The Address is: 1202 South Main Street, Charles City, IA 50616
• Everyone's invited and if enough people come, this might become a bimonthly event.
• Make sure to BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER!!! (we may have extras avalible for use, but still!)

The times for the tournaments are as follows:

• Doors open at 10:00am for friendlies
• Smash 4 Singles at 12pm
• Smash 4 Doubles at 2:00pm
• 3:30pm-4pm Half Hour Intermission
• Melee Singles at 4pm
• Melee Doubles at 5:30pm
• 5:30pm-6pm Half Hour Intermission
• Project M Singles at 6pm
• Project M Doubles at 7pm

• Free Time and Other Events from 7pm to however late players will stay

THESE TIMES WILL VARY BASED ON HOW FAST THE TOURNAMENTS ARE COMPLETED, BUT THE SMASH 4 SINGLES WILL START AT NOON!


The Entry Fees will be as follows:

Venue Fee - $5.00

Singles (1v1 Battles) - $5.00

Doubles (Team Battles) - $10.00 ($5 Per team mate)


PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE VENUE! I HAD TO PLACE A $100 DEPOSIT THAT I WANT BACK!


3 Dollars will be taken off your venue fee if you bring a FULL setup, this includes:

#1 – A Television

#2 – A console with video/power cords

#3 – One of the 3 smash bros games

#4 – Save data will all characters/stages unlocked


Bringing a setup will help the tournament run smoothly and guarenty that we will have time to have the other events. All setups must stay until the end of the project M doubles, there will be tape to mark your setup. Special circumstances will be taken into account if a set up needs to be taken earlier than the designated time.


It will be a double elimination bracket and payouts will be based on the number of people who show up.

If there is between 1-10 people, 1st place gets 60% of the money pot, and second gets 40%
If there is between 11-39 people, 1st place gets 60% of the money pot, and second gets 30%, 3rd place gets 10%
If there is 40 or more people, 1st place gets 50% of the money pot, and second gets 25%, 3rd place gets 15%, and 4th place gets 10%

We will also be holding other events at this tournament including:

RULESETS

Smash 4 Ruleset

• Game version: US Nintendo WiiU
• Game Settings: 2 Stock, 6 Minute Time Limit, Items Off, Equipment Off, 2/3 Games
• Amiibo’s are banned.
• Order of events: Pick characters, then stage striking, then custom move selection.
• Custom moves aren't allowed.
• Available Stages:: Battlefield, Final Destination, Smashville, Lylat Cruise, Town & City, Castle Siege, Delfino Plaza, Duck Hunt, Halberd, Wuhu Island, Kirbys Dream Land
• All Omega stages are banned.
• First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1(1)-P2(2)-P1(2)-P2(2)-P1(1) order.
• Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
• You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
• Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss.
• There will be no loading anything on to the consoles from a Nintendo portable gaming system.
• Allowed controllers: WiiU Pro Controller & GameCube Controller +Wii chuck.
• Gentalman's Rule
• Cloud, Bayonetta, and Corrin are all tournament legal!

Smash 4 Doubles Ruleset:

• Same as singles ruleset. 3 stocks instead of 2, 8 minutes instead of 6
• Team attack will be on
• Sheik and game & watch on the same team will be banned

Melee Singles Ruleset:

• Game version: US Nintendo GameCube
• Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games
• Starter stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
• Counter-pick stages: Pokemon Stadium.
• Wobbling is legal. Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal.
• First stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order.
• Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
• Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all stages and then loser choosing.
• Any matches that are best of five, there are no stage bans. Best of five are for finals in both brackets and grand finals.
• You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
• Gentalman's Rule

Melee Doubles Ruleset:

Same rules for singles except Fountain of Dreams is banned and replaced with Kongo

Project M Singles Ruleset:

• Stock and Time are set to 4 Stock and 8 Minutes.
  
• Buffer is turned off
  
• No player can counter pick a stage they have already won on, unless their opponent says it is okay.
  
• If the clock reaches 0, the match will be decided first by lives, then by percentage of current stock. If both players have the same percentage, a 1-stock, 3 minute match is to be played to determine the winner.
  
• Gentlemans Rule

Project M Doubles Rule set:

• Same as singles ruleset
  
• team attack is on
  
• double metaknight is banned

All payouts will be at the end of the tournaments

Also the venue has 4 bathrooms, 2 fridges, air hockey, a pool table, and foosball!
