For glory: How to resolve an endless sudden death stalemate?

So, the clock runs out, the sudden death goes stupid, you end up on opposite ledges of each other mindlessly regrabbing the ledge while bombs go off on the stage, unable (afaik) to hit you while you're edge hanging. Does this just go on forever? Will the bombs eventually hit one unlucky player? Or is it up to one player to get fed up or screw up? What do in this situation?
