Went on 4 Glory earlier this morning and had a good series of matches with a player by the name of "Tracy". After our first match, he changed his tag name to "Good Games". I was aware that in Sm4sh U your tag name can go up to 10 letters, but the thought never occurred to me that we could use it to communicate with players online. Granted, the communication is still limited to 10 words only, but its definitely a step above Brawl. Throughout our matches these were some of the tags we used to communicate with each other.

"Good Game" or "gg's" (Self-explanatory)

"LOL" (When a match has a silly ending)

"GET REKT" (When you 2 stocked your opponent)

"GOING MAIN" (A warning to your opponent that you are about to use your best character. a.k.a NO JOHNS)

"FRIENDLIES" (Basically means you are going random. Not serious)

"CLUTCH" (When you won the previous match by the skin of your teeth. a.k.a You barely won).

"NICE CHAR" (Complimenting your opponent if he/she performed well with the previous character on the previous match)

"SALTY" (Self-explanatory)

"LAST" or "FINAL" (Basically telling your opponent its the last game)

"BYE" or "PEACE" or whatever word you use to say goodbye within 10 letters.

You get the idea. Heck, if the person you're playing is really cool, you could even type out the character name (or a shortened nickname for characters with more letters) to initate a match with a certain character. For example, I typed in "DITTOS" for my tag name and then put "LINK" to which he responded with "OK!". I'm sure you can think of many more creative ways to communicate in with just 10 letters. Keep in mind, you only have 40 seconds before a match begins, so try to have the tag names ready beforehand if you aren't a fast typer. The best part is you can see the person Mii/NNID in-between matches so you can add them for real after the match.

Apologies if something like this has been posted already, but I just thought it was really cool to see actual etiquette rules on 4 glory. Hope this post was informative to anyone that likes to play online.
