i was just wondering just incase a new build of project M comes along in the near future, do i have to erase my current build with all my custom things added to it or can i simply just upgrade it with no hassle?

Depends on whats changed. From 2.5 to 3.0, you would kinda have to simply due to the massive overhall with the common.5 and all.

Fo stuff like..3.0- 3.02, you coild technically just replace the new common 5 with the old (though the colour bars and warning labels would still be there

You need to erase it. I mean, technically you could go in to apply the changes yourself - I'm not much of a tech with files, but I'm guessing that's strongly ADVISED AGAINST.

It pretty much just depends on what it is, Music is very very easy to re-implement after an update. Some other things can be wayyyy harder.
