Gamecrazy's that are attached to Hollywood Video Stores are selling them for $29.99. Just picked up one today.

This doesn't belong in this section, or really any section. Try putting it in your sig next time. McFox and Mic_128 take offense to spam like I take offense to acts of selflessness.

The Wavebird is worth the extra $15, in my mind. Cords are such a pain in the neck; they just limit your distance from the TV screen and get tangled up and whatnot. Using a Wavebird (or any other wireless controller) is so much nicer than using anything else. It's one of gaming's best luxuries.

Where are you playing that you get cords tangled and you need to sit 30 feet from a TV? Wavebird also has no rumble.

I'll admit, the rumble is the one thing that's lost in the process that hinders it.

Otherwise, it's just nice not having the cords there. If you have multiple consoles like me, and get careless, the cords will tangle with controllers of other systems. Or, it could be when the console has all of its ports taken up and overtime, people change positions the cords start to overlap. This isn't always the case, but it does happen, not just to me but to a lot of people.

That's not even the biggest issue, though. For me, it's just being able to hold the controller however I want (i.e. resting up above my head on a recliner or some other chair) in order to achieve constant comfort. Cords on controllers aren't that long; it's not an issue of having to sit 30 feet away, but being able to get any distance away from the TV, short or long, and at any angle, is great. It's especially good for gaming parties where the room is full of people and you end up sitting more towards the back in one of the higher positions.

It's a case-by-case thing, but in my case not having the cord there just removes any thoughts of possible entanglement, people tripping over the cords, issues with length/pulling the cord out by accident at any given moment if not within 10 feet of the TV, etc.

Lol rumble sucks *** anyways.

And wavebird are fat and clunky.

And how do you know there gonna "stop" making the GC controller? Alot of wii games allow the use of it so more then likely there not going to stop making them.

Just buy a controller extension cord for 5$ if it's that big of a deal.

RIPOFF. I can get a non-wavebird for like 15 bucks
I CAN GET THEM FOR 2$. YOUR DEAL IS NOW A RIP-OFF.

I don't really understand what a Wavebird does, besides wireless and the doublemint challenge, lol. Is that it?
