I think it's expected that things will get kind of heated towards the end of this... But I really think we need to keep our heads level and stop getting involved with whatever the Skullgirls community decides to do (or in this case, the VAs). We should be worrying about what WE should do, not what they're doing. If they're not getting a lot of donations from LittleKuriboh tweeting about them, then don't worry about it, focus on what we need to do.

And what we need to do is more reaching out and creating hype as we lead up to the ACTUAL spirit bomb Thursday night. Reach out to people who like Smash in general and have a big following, something! Help Mew2King out with what he's doing!

Trihex is going to stream again today by the way so we should also support him again as well. The more people we pull in, the more donations are raised as well as EXPOSURE FOR SMASH. This is a really good thing we're doing, after all, it's towards Breast Cancer Research. Everything being put in is for a good cause, regardless of how it's being done. Remember that, it's not just about getting Smash into EVO.

Just control yourself from getting nuts about what the other side of the fence is doing so we don't misrepresent ourselves (making us look bad). That is all.

I agree, like a few users have stated in some other threads, getting into EVO won't be as good as we think it might be if we're seen as enormous *****. It's a great opportunity to show that their perception of us is wrong.

Absurd
knowing your opponent's next action is half the battle
we can't just ignore their plans, we have to plan accordingly

It's a linear race of who donates the most money

What we have to do is stay motivated and keep donating

I think some of us should try doing services in exchange for donations. That way if someone's a bit worried about losing, at least they in a sense bought something out of it. It's just encouragement and services you could do to help others donate mainly/only cost effort

(I felt really secure about dropping $50 for 68 subscribers 2 days ago. A new TASer offered to give a similar deal, dropping $50 of his own to gain like 85 subscribers. My examples)

And here I was thinking about making a thread to specifically focus on others. XD

Well, more of an idea to judge the amount we need to measure up to as close as possible.

I liken it to a political campaign. Everyone would prefer a "clean" campaign, but there are so many campaign staffers, someone's going to be naughty, or an overzealous voter will remove someone's yard signs. It reflects poorly on that guy's candidate, but obviously the campaign doesn't approve. The only problems are we don't have a a living person as a candidate to guide the campaign or approve/disapprove, and we have a dozen or so campaign managers.

And the people with the most money win. :troll: Too bad we don't have a Melee SuperPAC

Trihex is going to stream again today
O god. My body is not ready.

So what you're saying is that we need to PM Prog with every post we make and he'll type out "I'm Prog and I approve this message."
