is float canceling and jumpping then pressing down the same thing, or is it something different? if so please tell me lol.

float canceling

Do an aerial while you're floating, and it'll automatically cancel the landing lag.

i had another quesion about float canceling....
we all know the general way to float cancel... do an aerial while floating, fast fall, tada!
well, what if u are approaching a slanted part of a level (like corneria's wing)? do u actually have to fast fall in order for the lag to be canceled? or can u just do and aerial and land on the wing (without fast falling, since it is slanted upwards) to cancel your lag?
we all know the general way to float cancel... do an aerial while floating, fast fall, tada!
