Flipnote?

I was watching unboxing videos of the "NEW" 3DS and I noticed something. I saw a flipnote hatena icon and if anybody is familiar with it then they would know that they are making a 3d version of it. Once I saw this I scoured the internet to find any kind of additional information on it and didnt see even a grain of sand that goes into detail about why it's there. Maybe somebody else can help me figure out what it is.

O_o Honestly? I posted it on a thread that has the most random questions ever. I honestly have no idea how you found this post with out seeing the pure randomness of the other posts on SMASHboards...
