I believe the last time a passenger jet was shot down was in 1988, Iranian Air Flight 655.

Russia spoke of consequences for U.S. sanctions and then this happens.
Russia is trying to say that they had no responsibility in this, but it happened in Ukraine under their watch with their missiles.

They can't run from this and the UN should have no problems getting european countries on board for full sanctions against Russia.

I give no prayers because god has no evidence and commits horrendous acts of evil everyday, one event included mass genocide. Why are these people special or more important than the others who are dying elsewhere? I could see how frightening it is to die from a high altitude impact while inside an inclosed area, this must have been more painful to experience than other deaths, unless they died quick, then death by starvation would be even more painful. I'm getting weird now, bye.
