So the thought occurred to me today on how much sense it would make for Flatzone 3(D) to be on this Version of Smash. Especially since the Game & Watch was the first portable system (and general game system) made by Nintendo.
Can't wait to see Mr. Game & Watch announced as well!!!

Oh and am I the only one that thinks they should put songs from Game & Watch Gallery on the Game & Watch stage(s)?

You're forgetting about certain classics, such as Fire and Octopus in the song list. Perhaps Boxing's theme as well?

Or maybe, since Mr. G&W is re-imagined character from the 80's. Maybe having remixes of obscure Nintendo games.

They can do it like how Nintendo did the Game Boy and Game Boy Colour virtual console games when you press Start and Select before the games boot up.

You get this mini game boy/color system on your 3DS and when you switch on the 3D it creates a little depth onto the game making it look similar to how they were on the original consoles.

At least that's just one way they could probably do it... on fixed camera mode I guess....

I have a feeling that 3DS will get Flatzone, but I feel that WiiU WILL get a G&W stage.

Maybe the WiiU can have an Octopus stage, inspired by Nintendo Land.

That would be pretty cool. For those who have seen the LCD screen, you can see it "pop out" kind of. It's hard to explain, but the stage would look pretty cool with the 2D stage with those 3D effects and with the characters all 2D as well.

Melee and Brawl both emulated this. Brawl even goes as far as flattening the character model so it fits on a 2D plane (Melee kind of cheated by forcing the camera to zoom way out when you paused so you couldn't tell the models were still 3D). It would be a blatant misstep if they had this opportunity for 3DS and didn't do that.

Yeah I know :p I was saying that I was excited to see what they would do with 2D characters on the 3DS.

I thought they were still flattened in Melee's flatzone too. At least when you use Yoshi's egg roll move and turn around you can see that he's flat if I recall correctly....

What could the next Flat Zone's music be...

possibly uncensored versions of the previous songs at long last? :troll:
