Flash Games

Notice: Please mods, don't move this to computer haven, nobody goes there. I think it fits within the pool room standards anyway.

So, I've been playing a lot of flash games lately. You know, like the ones people submit to newgrounds. I've been looking for a really great game to occupy my time, and I hope we can share game recommendations.

First, I'll recommend antbuster: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/378646

It's a tower defense game, except it strays far from the formulaic TD. Ants will come out of their ant hill and try to run across the screen in a frenzied path to steal your cake. When an ant takes a slice of cake, it then brings it back to the anthill. Your goal is to build little cannons to kill the ants before they take all 8 slices. The ants move in a completely dynamic path, and there are TONS of cannons you can make. You start with basic things, but then, as you upgrade cannons, you have other options, which lead to other options. It's really a cool, original game that you should try.

I usually satisfy my thirst for flash games on miniclip.
my top favorites are motherload, mutiny, and final ninja.

Still, PRoom is anti-games. I'll move it to the Light House, and we'll see how Cashed and Osco deal with it.

I normally just play hunterstory and pandemic for my flash game needs. Ones pointless grinding (Excellent time waster) and ones a good strategy game.

But, Fancypants needs a WiiWare adaptation. It's better than most of the game being released for the Wii right now in it's basic flash form.

People don't come to the light house to discuss flash games. Do you notice how many replies the thread has gotten since it's been moved?

Is it going to cause some cataclysmic system crash to have a thread about games in the proom? It's not a console game, it's not a forum game, it doesn't fit in with anything.

Maybe no one's that excited about flash games. I like playing Defend Your Castle type stuff.

Yeah, I like Defense games like that a lot. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/326452 (Storm the House 2) is very similar, but I think it fixes most of the problems with Defend your castle.

I loved the Portal Flash.

One of the only flash games I've had the patience to finish.
