Fixing up some Ramen Noodles?

Just wanted some tips and advice for this type of edge guarding. I cant really get on to the ledge as quickly and smoothly as I see some players do. Help Please.

For those who do not know, ramen noodles is when you seamlessly maneuver towards a ledge and grab on to it in order to prevent your opponent from grabbing it to come back on stage.

Well, the first thing that comes to mind when I think of seamless movement to the edge, is a ledgehog. When I say this I mean wavedash back and fastfall to the ledge. Check this video out.

lol I almost thought this was a joke thread.

But, yeah, universally all that is needed is wavedash and add in a fast fall to grab the ledge. Without the fast fall it can be too slow.

Now, that you know how to do it the rest is literally practice, practice, practice. Then, in 6 months time it is still practice. 2 years from that point nothing changes.
