So I haven't been to a local in at least a year, and have never attended a major but I'm 100% going to attend Shine 2016 in boston. Considering I'm from the area I see it fitting that this be the first major I attend, and compete in.

Now the question is, what should I be expecting from a major? Obviously I'm going to get on my grind so I'm ready to compete, but I have no expectations of taking a major especially with the current entrants attending. So what should I be expecting from a spectator, and competitors standpoint?
