First time with Pac-Man on For Glory

Hey guys, yesterday I had played pac man for the first time on for glory. I got my butt kicked, though.

Here is the video. I would like to point out I made some very stupid errors. For some reason I expected the fruit to go through the tree, I missed my trampoline, I kept misinputing side-B, and for some reason I kept charging side or down smash (that's totally not predictable). At least I'm grateful the Villager didn't know how to use my fruit correctly.
Anyways, anyone mind giving some advice/criticism? Much appreciated, thanks

Well of course there a ton of things to improve and there's always room to improve. I can't sit here and type it all and I really wouldn't want to critique your every move anyways, but I will give you one thing to keep in mind.
Try to be aware of your hydrants water. After you place it down it takes roughly about 2 seconds before it shoots water, and another rough 2 seconds before the second shot. Just being aware of that is useful because so many Pac-Mains don't even acknowledge the water and allow their self to get pushed around with it.
