Smash Apprentice
Hey-low people of Smash Boards! This is my first post (I feel like I'm not the first user to say that..), and I haven't any clue of what to do or where to go with my new account. To be honest, I don't even know where to go with this post..
I suppose I'll just list my mains, then? I main Sonic in the WiiU and Bowser in Melee/PM. And before anyone says anything, I AM NOT A CAMPY SONIC! I'm sorry but I just really dislike Sonic's that camp with their Side B. My mentality as Sonic is "You're the fast character with plenty of rush down approaches, why would you play near identical to a very reserved Duck Hunt or Rosalina?" I'm not trying to belittle anyones play style here but personally I've been playing Sonic since the Brawl days, and in my opinion he was definitely a low-tier or otherwise bad character. So now, when you have such a vastly improved arsenal of viable approaches/kill options, why would you opt to play as only holding Side B-> Uair? Is all that really all your character is capable of executing?
Wow.. I kind of went on a little rant there I suppose. Uhm.. So yeah, I'd love to hear what sorts of things there are to do on the Smash Boards. What's your opinion on Sonic's that play a very campy style? Are you okay with it, or is your opinion more like mine? Again, play how you feel comfortable! But for someone who had to fight MK's and Diddy Kongs in Brawl as Sonic, I feel that our blue hedgehog buddy should now be taking full control over the pace of the battle, not seeing who's patience will cave-in first.
