First Pacman Alternate Color confirmed!

This color actually strikes me as curious, you see the red stripe on his shoe yes, but where's the rest of the white right next to it coming from? I looked at his character portrait on the main site and compared it to this but there's nothing there in his art and it can't be his hand blocking anything cause his hand isn't close enough to his shoes for that in his art so this leads me to believe that we're seeing something slightly more than just a color.

I've seen some speculation saying that this recolour is actually more of a difference and they just decided to edit it to look like regular Pac-Man so that the actual recolour can be shown off at a later date, but they just forgot the stripes.

Honestly that sounds too vague even for Sakurai's standards but we'll see.

Yeah, I dunno about that. Sakurai is usually really careful with showing off information as to not spoil any surprises. I think he wanted to throw in this subtle hint without saying anything to see if fans would catch it.

Personally, I still think it looks like a Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures skin for him, and I love it.

I guess think one is kind of cool. But it'd be more interesting to see color swaps that change his body color. I would imagine some of his other swaps would do that. Maybe he'll have one based on each of the four ghost.

It depends on how they handle them. If they do alternate outfits or hats for Pac-Man, I'm totally down with that. If it's just shoe recolors, I'll be upset. At the very least, he needs his Pac-Land hat.

True, but it does look like there's some more white on his shoes than just the stripe. We'll have to wait and see. Only two more months!

This is...Disappointing. I really wanted to play as different colored pac-man...
