So this project started about 1.5 weeks ago when I came across a BRSTM converter and wanted to put variations of Groose's theme over multiple stages in the game. This idea eventually expanded into adding every skin possible until everything broke and I had to start over.
I grabbed Theytah's custom build folder as a new base and began building from there (this was about the second beta version of the build). I decided that since my friend was going to make a crazy pack full of as much crazy **** as possible that I would make a more calm and legal build, so I instituted some rules for Skins and Stages.
Skin rules are as follows:
* It must be the same character as the base or some past/future iteration of said character.
* Exceptions to this rule would be characters from previous/future Smash titles or Groose.
Stage Rules are simple, just nothing that alters the actual platforms and how the stage plays, only texture changes here.
Another vision I had for this pack is to have it sort of resemble Smash 4. So I grabbed the "True Smash HUD" and some of the skins from "Project Super Smash Bros. 3" and went to work.
Almost all of the content in this pack is from various creators on Brawlvault but some of it was made solely by me and I do plan to make more original content as my skin/stage making skills increase.
The working title for this pack is "Get Groosed" which comes from the first version of this build where I tried to retexture everything to look like Groose (a main character from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword if you don't know him).
The current release version only has UI and skin changes though I am already working on the next two consecutive updates which will have the music and stages in. Feedback is wanted and greatly appreciated.
Apparently I'm not allowed to post links on Smashboards so I will link to the Reddit thread that has this exact post with the links included! (Sorry!!) redd.it/28aw6q Just copy and paste that link.
