Fire Emblem?

I was wondering if I should get the original fire emblem on Virtual Console.. I heard that's it's a good series and I guess it's kinda weird that my avatar is Fire Emblem character but I haven't played it... what do you guys think?

Absolutely. Fire Emblem 7 is a fantastic entry in the series and is my personal favorite.
You're gonna find that people will argue for and against it, but FE7 is my favorite in the franchise.

Plus, because of the sprites the game will almost always look good, and I much prefer the over-the-top, flashy attacks and critical animations as opposed to the more realistic animations of the newer games.

Yes, it's good. If you haven't played it I would highly recommend it. I know there's a lot of folk that dislike it for one reason or another, but personally it's one of the stronger entries in the series IMO.
