Fire Emblem Fates - Green Ally Death

I am brand new to Fire Emblem so I am not too knowledgeable of gameplay. I am playing on Casual mode, meaning allies will not die permanently (I believe it's called no "permadeath"). I just played Paralogue 1, while on Chapter 7, and Mozu was killed as a green ally (I didn't know my avatar specifically had to talk to her, I thought it could be any one of my units). Will she come back despite the fact she was not a "blue" ally? It's going to make me go crazy if I can never use her ever due to my mistake. Is there possibly an item that can revive her I can obtain in the future?

No, there isn't. If you had made her a blue unit by talking to her with your avatar, THEN let her die, she would've come back. However, as long as Mozu is green, she is considered to be an NPC (non-playable character) who isn't related to your party in any way.

The solution would be to reset the chapter, pick up from your last save before the chapter started and try to salvage her/make her join your army before she gets killed.

So there is no item that can revive her, not even the Bifrost?

Also, I unfortunately have been saving every time onto a single save file. What are my options now? Can I specifically choose what chapter to start over on, or must I start from the split (Branch of Fates in the beginning menu screen) again?

If I were to start a new file starting from chapter six and recruited Mozu, would Mozu be available on my orgininal save?

You can't revive a green unit, let alone a blue unit (the Bifrost is very restrictive and doesn't work for units that have fallen in chapters you're already done with anyway)

You must start from the Branch of Fates, I'm afraid. And nope, she wouldn't be available on your original save.
