Final Smashes in Tournaments..?

I've never been to one but, generally, I've heard that items are turned off in Smash Bros tournaments. This has probably been mentioned, before, but will Smash Balls be excluded from Tournaments, too?

They seem to be of a different class from most items and would add a different perspective on game play, I would guess.


What's the general census?

If you want to avoid harassment, I would suggest you lock this thread right now. This has been discussed all it can be, and nobody really knows yet, since we don't know how it will alter the competitiveness.
