Brilliant game. It is the prequel that tells the beginning like no other video game or story could. It does the original, the legend, that started it all, incredible justice. The fighting system is far too easy, but the length is rather nice for a prequel, and explores SOLDIER, the exploits in ShinRa, and deepening relationships very well. Some complain for the cheesy dialogue, but it wouldn't be Final Fantasy VII without it. And that's the way RPG's SHOULD be. Cheesy with a lot of fantasy to allow your mind to escape.
The voice acting is great too. Rick Gomez is an amazing Zack, and Sephiroth's still keepin' it real with Superman. XDD! George Newburn is a great Sephiroth.
Everything about this game. To the moments of fanservice hearing Sephiroth in a better light, to the memories being made by Angeal and Zack, to Zack and Aerith's touching relationship...
It screams Final Fantasy VII. It's the series that will live on in our hearts, but hopefully will end soon with ONE final game that will put it all to an end and let us move on to remember the journey the games took us on.
Crisis Core, absolutely rocks. A little easy, but hey, I went on Normal Mode. I'll pursue Hard Mode for the New Game +!
And the MUSIC! The battle theme is BACK!!!! WOOHOO!!
Go to
www.bluelaguna.net, they have the OST for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. It's great.
My two cents here and whatnot. I could go on and on, I'm a huge Final Fantasy VII fan.
