file sharing systems for mac... know any good ones?

so i'm at college and the school's internet doesn't allow most file sharing systems and stuff, but i've heard of kids being able to use obscure but reliable and good ones.

the question is does anyone know a good file sharing system for macs? i've been having so much trouble trying to find them on the internet using google and such, so I was wondering if anyone would know.

and please don't suggest things like kazaa, bearshare, and limewire, because those are basically the main three that my school's internet doesn't allow.

Um, usually schools will ban all filesharing programs. If they see one computer connecting to like 30 IPs and sending and receiving a billion data packets, they can be pretty sure it's a filing sharing program. They don't like them because they're often used for illegal purposes and because they can overwork the routers with hundreds of simultaneous connections from just one computer.

I can't help you with programs for Mac, because I don't really use a Mac. Just be careful you don't get in trouble for misusing Cobleskill's network.

do you use firefox? you can grab an add on that can allow you to download music from search engines

you could try it out...https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2146, there are others though, just got to search that add on page

i actually use safari because the internet connect for my school is kind of weird and doesn't really allow firefox to work, but i'll check it anyways, and hopefully be able to find something.
