Several of us here at the store love fighting games. We've put literally thousands of hours into them, without exaggeration. Only problem is that the competition gets a little stale. No matter how good or bad you are, you can only play the same person so many times. There are leagues all over the world for fighting games, but nothing is available to people in our area, until now anyway. We will be reserving much of, if not all of the VIP room every Sunday specifically for fighting games, and charging event prices, which are much lower than the hourly rate. Starting Sunday, November 4th, and every Sunday after, D Pad will be the place to be if you are a fan of fighting games, no matter your skill level. This is the perfect time to get into a game you've always wanted to try too, as we already have new players that started here on Smash Bros, 3rd Strike, and Tekken DR. You play up to your opponents' skill level, that's how it works. What we need from you are ideas and advertising. Tell us what you want from this, and tell your friends to come along with you....what's that smell?? I think it's some kind of "bring a friend" discount.....yeah....Peace.

Its going to be between $7-$10, and the time will last from 4:00pm till about 10:00pm. And whats going to go down is that we will have a bunch of fighting games connected to our TV's and our systems (nobody needs to bring anything but themselves and some cash!) We have a 3strike arcade to play on with new arcade sticks and buttons. Myself and my business partner play smash(hes better than I) But i play all the other fighters. If a good amount of people come maybe we can have a tournament. We just think the fighting scene in Texas needs a place to grow. We want a place where people can meet, share skills and ideas. We also want people to come and try new games, we are very open to helping people learn.
