I noticed that some people want certain characters to be in to add more girls (Krystal, rosalina) while others want more villans. (Wolf, Ridley) I was wondering if there were any good female villans that oculd be put into brawl. The only one I can think of is that witch from mario whos name I can't remember.

did u even fight her?

and yea there arent any good Nintendo villains that are important to get a spot on the roster...

sure theres Koume & Kotake from Zelda, Veran again from Zelda, Cackletta from Mario, Kamella or Kammy from Mario but Kamek deserves it more if Sakurai decides to add a Magikoopa...theres..........................ummmm..........yea I dunno...-_-

Jody Summer is a female character in F-Zero but she isnt a villain...

Who is Jody Summer?
Isn't she like a protagonist type character from the F-Zero series? I'm taking a wild guess here.

Hey, how about a re-vamped Shadow Queen? Heh, that would be stupefying ; Or Maybe weather Peach or Zelda get blasted by Wario, they'll turn evil.

I think your talking about Kamek. Though I wouldn't mind seeing atleast 1 good female villian, I don't think Kamek would be a good enough PC. But I can definatly see her being a kick *** AT.

....People want rosalina? I think you meant Midna or Micaiah or Lip. I mean we haven't even seen anything Galaxy related in Brawl.

Female villains are almost non-existent in Nintendo games, and important ones pretty much are non-existent. A few show up in some RPGs, like Fire Emblem or Golden Sun, but always as secondary villains - such as Menardi and Karst in Golden Sun, or Limstella and Petrine in Fire Emblem. Radiant Dawn
technically had a major female antagonist ("villain" doesn't really fit), but theres no way she'd be considered as a PC, or even a subspace emissary boss I'd be willing to bet.
Others are at best one-shot characters with almost no fans, like Captain Syrup and Paper Mario 2's Shadow Queen, and beyond that you get into minor flunkies like Kamek the generic magikoopa.

Basically, no one who is both female and a villain could possibly stand a chance of being considered for a PC slot.

Kamek is MALE

Kammy and Kamella are FEMALE...

just like to point that out...

and yea unless there is a major recurring villain who happens to be female, theres no way...

Um, she isn't a villain. Shes a sage. And honestly, nobody else you listed is important enough to have a chance. Dark Samus might have, but Ridley outshines her in every way, and odds are against Metroid getting four characters.

Golden Diva and Dark Samus sound good, and personally (I'm gonna get beaten up for this...) I like Captain Syrup... yeah, I know, sounds like a bad choice, but to me she's kinda cool, and if she or any of these other females don't make it as characters, I'm sure they can atleast be trophies, Assist trophies, or even stickers

I know she just had some evil qualities. My list did have some important characters.
Besides Sakurai stated he didn't just want Important characters in Brawl

Like what? Technically shes a thief, but she certainly didn't play an antagonist role or display any evil inclinations in OoT.

Such as who? Cackletta was a one-shot villain in the Mario series, completely eclipsed by many other characters. The Golden Diva is in an even worse spot, a one-shot character from the Wario Land series. The Magma/Aqua Admins and Tiffany are very minor characters from Pokèmon. The Shadow Sirens are secondary villains (and one sidekick) from Paper Mario 2. Veran was another one-shot villain from Oracle of Ages, and ultimately secondary to Twinrova and Ganon to boot. None of them are even close to important to their series.

And you've gotten that mixed up - Sakurai said he didn't just want popular characters in Brawl. He never said anything about minor or unimportant ones.

Oh, excuse me for my ignorance on that matter. Anyways, there are important Nintendo characters out there.

In the ? Box that Mario must hit.
I believe out of all female villains, Birdo has the best chance. And even her chances are pretty low. But she does seem to be the only female Nintendo villain thats more than minor.

Aside from her, Lololo is the only other one I can think of. I'm not sure about Dark Samus, while she does seem Genderless, the Lore in the Pirate Homeworld claims it's a 'she'.

If, (an impossible If, but still an If) any Sonic or Snake characters make it in, only female villains from both series are Rouge and Sniper Wolf. Both of which aren't much, and have far more important characters.

Only third party female villain I can see from another series would be Ms. Pac-Man. I mean she is pretty villainous, picking on poor Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and...whichever that other one is. What the hell did they ever do to her? That *****.

I don't think it's clear whether Dark Samus is female or genderless. I mean, the idea is that it stole the Phazon Suit, and not any of Samus's DNA, but that's not written in stone, it may have taken some Samus DNA.

Good call on it being called a she, though. I don't think this is definitive, though, since it doesn't speak, and the Space Pirates just called it a "she" since at first they thought it was Samus.

And Ridley is definitely a male.

Dark Samus is the obvious one and might Ridley be a female by any chance?:dizzy:
Psh, Ridley is male. Logbook entry from Metroid Prime:

"The reconstruction of geoform 187, code-named Ridley, was recently completed. After his defeat on Zebes, Command ordered a number of metagenenic improvements for him. Though aggressive, we were able to implement these changes in a cycle. The metamorphosis was painful, but quite successful in the end. Early tests indicate a drastic increase in strength, mobility, and offensive capability. Cybernetic modules and armour plating have been added as well. We believe our creature, now called Meta Ridley, will become the mainstay of our security force, a job he will certainly relish."

Notice the his's and him's and he's.

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes:

"Scans indicate the presence of Phazon and your genetic material
within this entity. She wears a version of the Varia Suit, altered and
agumented by the Phazon within her. Primary weapons include the Missile
Launcher and a scattershot variant of the Power Beam. Boost and Jump
abilities are superior to yours. The ability to generate Phazon energy
sheilds is also present."

Now notice the she's and her's.
