Fellow smashers rejoice!!!

Hello fellow smashers, I have just made my smash boards account, and thought I would try to hit up some fellow players. I go to college in Quincy, Illinois and was wondering if there are any other competitive players in the surrounding area ( preferably no more than 3 hours away, but exceptions will be made). I have been playing melee ever since it came out (no necessarily competitive), and have been playing pm since 3.0 came out. I main falco in both, and have played in a few tournaments in the Iowa scene with some buds going to Iowa University. I have been really wanting to start a scene if there is not one near by, but if anyone plays seriously please hit me up!!!!

search around facebook so see if there's a page if you have one, otherwise finding a good place to start TO'ing and getting the word out somehow could definitely help grow the scene near you.

Will do! I already looked around pages on google and on fb, but unfortunately to no avail . I was considering trying to make some flyers and reserving a place on my campus, but if that doesn't work i might have to drive to other places which is also fine. Ty for the suggestion!

there's a college that i go to to play every now and then and they just played in the game room, and eventually became a club and have been snowballing since.
