Ok so this isn't entirely my custom stage hack as I used Brawl Minus's versions of Spear Pillar, updated them for P:M (camera, visuals, etc.), and this person went ahead and replaced Cresselia with Giratina (which is pretty sick btw).

That said I'm looking for some thoughts on this stage. One issue that I've encountered so far is that character capes (Marth, Ike, etc.) and even hair (Zelda) keep this weird upward position and is only present on this stage in my build. Is there anyway to fix this?

I browsed through the stage's animations and yet there are no model animations for the platforms in case I would like to modify their movement. Is the vBrawl platform movement ok for competitive play or would having them in place like PS2 be more viable or even something else like moving horizontally.

In addition, are the blast zones and ceilings alright or should they be modified?

Spear Pillar's one of my favorite stages visually and I would love to have it revamped for competitive play and since I'm new to the whole stage modding scene, I'd appreciate some tips and advice.

Cheers!

Personally I always liked vBrawl's platform movement. Too many static platform stages; the movement spices it up.

Can't help with the wind issue though. Maybe you should contact Mewtwo2000. He's godlike with stages.

Thank you, I went ahead and contacted M2000 and managed to help me with everything.

Though, I decided to go with the static approach to test out with people interested to see if it plays too similarly to PS2. I'd like to see if blast zones and ceiling is ok now. Feel free to get the new version here!
