Hello there. We are a tournament series that runs every Wednesday in Tewksbury Massachusetts. We are a 20 minute drive from the Boston area and we are practically in New Hampshire. We run both doubles and singles every week and are a walking distance from BK, McDonald's, Subway, Papa Ginos, Dominoes, a Chinese restaurant and many more. Our venue is also very spacious and could hold a 75 man bracket. Specifics are down below.
Entry Fees
Venue fee - $5*
Smash 4 doubles - $10 ($5 per person)
Smash 4 singles - $5
*Venue fee is free if you bring a setup (Lagless TV and Wii U).
Schedule
Sign ups open at 4:30
Smash 64 doubles starts at 5:30
Smash 64 singles starts at 7:30
Tournament ends and store closes at 10:00
Payouts
Smash 64 doubles
1st. - 60% (30% for each player)
2nd. - 30% (15% for each player)
3rd. 10% (5% for each player)

1st. - 60%
2nd. - 30%
3rd. - 10%
General Rules
Game Settings: 5 Stocks 8 minutes, Best of 3 Games. Best of 5 Games for: Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals
Items are disabled.
Any stage may be played on if both players agree to it.
Accidental pausing results in a loss of the current stock and a restart of the match at the resulting stock counts. The opponent can choose to forego the restart
Alternate or custom controllers/adapters such as a keyboard, Gamecube controller or a Hori Mini Pad are allowed. Players suspected of using turbo functions or other macros are subject to immediate disqualification.

Sharing stocks is allowed
Accidentally pausing while taking a stock forfeits that taken stock

Match Procedure
Players select their characters. Either player may choose to Blind Pick. In this case, each player secretly tells a third player their character before picking with the third player verifying their selections.
The players play the first match of the set on Dream Land.
The Losing player of the preceding match picks a stage for the next match from either the Neutral or Counter-Pick list. They cannot pick a stage they've already won on during this set, unless agreed.
The winning player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
The losing player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
The losing player of the preceding match may change their controller port.
The next match is played
Repeat Steps 3 through 7 for all subsequent matches until the set is complete
