Illinois State's monthly tourney is back and bigger than ever!

We will be running Melee Singles, PM Singles and Doubles, and Smash 4 Singles double elimination brackets. If we get enough entrants, we will do pools for Melee and PM!
Our goal at ISU Smash is to host high quality Smash Bros. tournaments and encourage causal and competitive players alike to come together and SMASH!!!
At the event, there will be a $5 venue fee and an additional $5 entry fee per tourney you sign up for. The venue fee will help us purchase better streaming equipment for future events. If you don't want to enter tournaments, that's fine! Friendlies are FREE!
Also, if you bring a full setup (TV, console, game disc), you will be reimbursed $5 for each setup! We will also reimburse for partial setups, but only if you are preregistered.
Schedule (tentative): 12:00pm - Venue opens/Setup
1:00pm - Melee Pools starts
2:30pm - Smash 4 Singles starts
3:30pm - PM Pools starts
5:00pm - PM Doubles starts
6:00pm - Dinner break til 7pm
7:00pm - Melee Singles Top 8
9:00pm - PM Singles Top 8
11:00pm - Venue Closes (we might push past this; latest would be 1 am)
Please be prompt and on-time to tournament matches, especially after dinner break. We will Disqualify people who are over 15 minutes late to pools/bracket matches.
We strongly encourage friendlies! We will try to have a few setups dedicated to friendlies throughout the day.
Payouts (%): Less than 64 entrants - 60/30/10
64 or more entrants - 40/20/15/10/5 (each)/2.5 (each)

Smash 4 - Apex 2015 rule set:
A. Game Settings
● Stock and time are set to 2 stock and 6 minutes for Singles
● Stock and time are set to 3 stock and 8 minutes for Doubles
● Custom Fighters are set to off
● Mii Fighters are legal. Each setup will have a 1111 Mii
Brawler/Swordsman/Gunner available for use (Using Default A Mii).
No other specials for Mii Fighters will be allowed. Players are not
allowed to transfer existing Miis to a setup.

* Treated as Final Destination in banning phase. If Final Destination is
banned, Omegas are banned and vice versa.
C. Additional Rules
● Stage Striking: The player with port priority strikes one stage from
the Starter Stage list. Then the other player strikes one stage and
the remaining stage is used for the first match.
● Stage Clause: You cannot counterpick a stage that has already
been played on in the set.
● Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the player who won the
previous game may ban 2 stages from either the Starter of
Counterpick lists.
● Bowser Jr’s Clown Car Glitch: If the Bowser Jr.’s Clown Car Glitch
happens, players are to pause the match and call a TO or a referee
over to confirm the glitch has happened. Once confirmed, players
will reset the match to the same stocks and get as close to the
percents as they had when the Glitch took place. (The Bowser Jr.
Clown Car Glitch happens when the car respawns after using Up B
right before the player loses their stock. The character starts to
teleport around, also hit boxes and animations for Bowser Jr.
change.)
● Red and Blue are to be used as the two team colors during doubles
matches.

For those having trouble finding location, The Bowling and Billiards center is within the paid parking lot, locating street parking will be preferable, so plan accordingly.
