Smash Rookie
Come join us at Auburn's first Down B Biweekly. We've noticed a lack of regular tournaments in the Auburn area lately, and think this would be a great way to bring people in the Auburn/Montgomery/Phenix City Area together to play Smash! All skill levels are welcome.
Please bring setups! Refreshments will be provided, and there are several restaurants within walking distance of the venue.
Since this is our first time running a tournament, we'll only be running a bracket for Melee and Project M. Feel free to bring setups for Smash 4 - we plan on adding Smash 4 and doubles brackets in future tournaments.
The schedule for the tournament will be as follows:
5:30 - 6:30 PM - Friendlies/Sign-ups
6:30 - 9:30 PM - Melee/Project M Bracket
Each bracket will cost $5 to enter. 40% of the pool will be donated towards ACF's outreach programs, and the remaining 60% will be distributed as follows:
1st Place: 70%
2nd Place: 30%
Rulesets for each game can be found below:
The bracket will be double elimination.
For each event, sets will be Best of 3.
Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals will be Best of 5.
