In all honesty, I've been rooting for and hoping for Micaiah, but the truth is she just really isn't a practical Brawler. What is she going to do? Sacrifice herself to heal her opponent? No no. Let's look to the Queen of the Wolf Laguz for a Brawl character. Instead of just adding another magic user to Brawl's roster, we will have a new character with a new play mechanic.

Laguz have a transformation meter that depletes while they are shapeshifted into their beast form and replenishes while they are in "human" form. The advantage of being in beast form is fairly obvious, she becomes pwn.

Discuss.

Nailah over Micaiah!?!?! I hard of some crazy stuff but this takes the big cake. Micaiah has a perfect moveset to be a great Brawl character. Nailah don't even have a great amount of moveset but a few, all Laguzs don't. She use all Light Magic, all Staves,
and she's part Beorc and Laguz as well.

So tell me, why you think Micaiah will be another boring character in the Brawl rouster?

Uh, Zelda says hi. Magic works fine. Go to the Micaiah thread if you want more details.

Besides, Elincia would be a much better choice than Nailah, if you want a female FE representative, as she is a much more important character in RD, and had a large role in PoR as well. And for Laguz, Kurth, Ena, Dheginsea, or mostly Tibarn would be a better choice, as they were much more important to the plot.

no, just no, she is not a major character
No kidding - she isn't even close to being the most important Laguz. That'd be either Tibarn, the most actively important laguz character throughout the story, or Dheginsea, who is an integral part of the backstory. Theres not even a ghost of a chance of her appearing as anything more than a sticker or trophy.

Well, you're right about her importance. I guess my main point is I'd rather see a Laguz over Macaiah in general. It's a new mechanic and magic is an old mechanic. We have Lucas, Zelda, PT to an extent ;), etc. Laguz is fresh. You really can't argue that Nailah looks pretty freaking cool compared to most Laguz.

And please I'd love for you to explain how they would incorporate Sacrifice? Wait I know since SSBB works with percentages she actually takes hers down to 1% and her enemy goes up in percent however much damage she had...makes perfect sense.
