These medleys consists of music tracks from various classic arcade titles developed by Bandai-Namco back in the 80's, both familiar and obscure.
With Bandai-Namco being apart of the development process for both Smash for 3DS/Wii U & Smash Ultimate, I guess they allowed the approval of adding in
these in the games' soundtracks (plus, there were the brand-new remix medleys for both Galaga & Mappy, and a remix of the "Area 1" theme from Dragon Spirit).
