Favorite/Best Video Capture methods?

Hey guys.
I have a friend visiting soon who I'd like to record some matches with. What are your favourite methods of capturing N64/TV to video to eventually be transferred to your PC? I'd really like to get these matches recorded and upped to youtube, I have no record of my gameplay yet!

from an n64, hmm, there is something known as a capture card, or use a game bridge if you want (insane) quality

You can record em on vcr or dvd if you're in a fix and buy the equipment to transfer them to PC later. DVD recorder is easy and simple. Since a PC can read a dvd, but not a vcr casette
