Searched around, didn't see an exact match for this topic, so hopefully asking here is okay. Simply put, would people who have the Japanese version be willing to help contribute their findings on the fastest ways to unlock custom moves and Mii Fighter outfit pieces?

If possible, please be detailed. Something like (Hypothetical, not actual data) "I've played Smash run 200 times, each run takes about 7 minutes and you generally get three custom moves... usually one of them is for the character you're playing as" is much more useful than "The trophy rush mode is the best" with no info accompanying it. Ideally if we get enough info, we can figure out the definitely fastest way to get all this done and reduce how much time people spend 'grinding' unlocks.

Thanks in advance for any help you can contribute!

Smash run and Trophy rush are the fastest methods we know of ATM. Smash run if you're broke and Trophy rush if you have a lot of coins.
You'll probably have to wait for the english release if you want to get too detailed.

A well-played game of Smash Run seems to yield more custom items then Trophy Rush on average, and is less boring.

You can feasibly reach the cap of 10 customs per five minute game if you play efficiently, whereas Trophy Rush tends to yield three customs per two and a half minute game on average if you play well.

Also, if you play with more people. I believe the number of item drops in Smash Run increases, and you're also allowed to carry more.
